Makeup Revolution - Blush Palettes

Makeup Revolution just launched in some branches of Superdrug here in Glasgow and when I found that out I just wanted to go and buy everything because I heard everyone raving about it so much. Finally got my hands on their products. I would say I got most of their eyeshadow palettes. Guilty. But I have not had a chance to use every single product but I have used some of them. I just didn't want to take them out the packaging as it looked so good :P. I am just weird that way. Anyone else do the same? And can say they are great. A must try for each and everyone of you out there.

I have used the Blush palettes from Makeup Revolution and I have honestly been loving it. The blushers are so crazily pigmented and the do stay on for the whole day. As I wear them to work every single day. The 2 blush palettes I bought are Hot Spice Sugar & Spice. And the one I have been loving is the Hot Spice.

Hot Spice has more peach, corals, and deep orange blushers. Consists of shimmery and matte blushers. And it also has 2 highlight shades. One is a more pinky highlight where as the other is a white based with a hint of coral in it.

Sugar & Spice is also a blush palette but this has pink blushers. Bright pinks, dark pinks and also brown/mauvey shades. And this palette also has two highlighting shades.

Just look how crazily pigmented these blushers are. each and everyone of you out there needs to try these. And they are only £6 per palette, but so worth the money. I sure think this is a must have in your collection if you are or you aren't a Makeup Artist.

You can buy these here:

Skincare routine

Thought I will update you all on my skincare routine, I know I have been neglecting my blog :-( it really sad because I have so many products I want to write about. So I thought I will start with an easy one :).

I will not brag about all the products because Ido not want this to be very long. Let's get started.

Right that is all the pictures there, just thought I would do something different. Like put the pictures up first and t hen talk about the products. Maybe that will be easier and keep it short and sweet :D.

What do you it is all from Origins. I have recently started using these products and have been very impressed with the results. And can see a difference.

I have been using the Origins Dr Andrew Weil Mega-Bright Skin Illuminating Cleanser. And must say I love it. It is exactly what it says on the packaging. I would say I have been using the cleanser for nearly a month now and my skin feels so much smoother and clean. And bright. I use this twice a day, I the morning and night. You take a small amount of the product and dot it all over your face and then massage it into ur skin with damp fingers as that will create a lather. I use my Magnitone for this step so I just wet the brush, turn it on obviously and then masage the cleanser on the face. Do it for 2minutes as that's how long the Magnitone goes on for. And then wash your face. Simples. After I have cleansed my skin I then pat my face dry using a towel. And then go on to Moisturizing my skin. For the day I use the the GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer. It is a very light Moisturizer and isn't greasy at all once you have applied it. And it dissolves into skin very quickly which means you can start applying makeup start after, that's what I do. Oh and before i start putting my makeup on I also dab a little bit of the GinZing Refreshing eye cream. As this eye cream contains Caffeine. As you all may already know that Caffeine in our food isn't good for our health but it is if it is in your eye cream as it helps to depuff and brighten the under eye. So next time you go out looking for an eye cream make sure to get the one with caffeine in it. It does really help and you can see a difference. But DO NOT use the eye cream contains caffeine at night time for obvious reasons ;-). The 2 masks you see in the pictures above are the only ones I have been using for the past couple of weeks. Out of Trouble & Clear Improvement are the only masks I have been using. Out Of Trouble I have been using when my skin feels irritated and itchy. I apply this on for 10 minutes and my skin feels so much better and calm. So do check it out, it's aaaaaahmazing. You can use this mask as many times you like. And the other mask Clear Improvment i use this once or twice a week. This is to clear the pores out and as it has active Charcoal it acts like a magnet to draw out deep-Dwelling pore-cloggers. And it also has other ingredients which absorbs any toxins and also dissolves impurities. Which means it leaves your skin looking bright and fresh and let's the skin breath.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and hopefully go out and buy some of these products. And if I didn't mention all of the Origins products are for all skin types and especially sensitive skin. And since my skin is sensitive I have been using these products and have not had any issues with my skin. :D

Happy skin = Happy Me :D

I will leave links below if you are looking for any of the above products mentioned.

My most awaited..

This has to be THAT one product I had been waiting for, for a long long time. I won't be boasting too much about this "product" as you may have already heard so many beauty guru's talking about it.

So here it is; Drum roll.........

TahDahhh! I know I know what you all are thinking but I just had to do it :D. If anyone is looking to buy the ABH Contour Palette then head over to CultBeauty. As they are the only beauty website, as far as I know that have these palettes in stock. :)

This is a custome made palette so it will mostly suit all skin colours :D which is always a good thing to know as sometimes, we are not sure as to what will look good on us and also match our skin colour. The palette consists of 6 shades. 3 contour shades, a highlight, and 2 setting powders.

I have also swatched 4 of the shades as the other 2 (setting powders) you can not see on the skin when swatched. So here they are..

Sand is the highlighting shade. It is a very subtle shade and suitable on every skin colour.
Java, Fawn, Havan are the contouring shades.. 3 different shades for every skin colour and it is perfect if you are an MUA of you just want to play about with those shades. I mean I know I will be using all those shades on my skin :D. Fun times? Who else plays about with makeup???

As you can see this palette is magnetic and the powders can be taken out if say you are going on a holiday and do not want to take the whole palette then u can just pick out ur shades and put them in a zpalette and you are good to go & they are magnetic so will stick to the palette and won't move.

Also tells you the name of the shade on the back, so if like me you don't remember what the name of the certain shade then this is for us ladies :D.

I have not yet had the chance to play about with palette but when I do I will post pictures on my Instagram. So be sure to follow me :D <3.

Morphe Brushes - Eyeshadows

Sorry gyals for the lack of post but I have been feeling super lazy and just tired. I blame this Scottish weather. It's getting colder :(.

Anyhoo I have been meaning to this for a long long time.. So here goes. People had been raving about these eyeshadows on Instagram & YouTube so thought I would see what all the fuss is about? I finally decided to buy the Morphe Eyeshadows after watching JaclynHill use them in a tutorial. I ordered 20 eyeshadows from their website. The single eyeshadows cost $2 which when you convert into £'s is £1.06 and that's cheap but the postage is a bummer. But I suppose you can't complain. And I guess the postage just depends on the weight of the parcel. For me, well I ordered a large Zpalette & 20 eyeshadows but only got 18 as 2 were out of stock. Took round about a week I believe to get here. And I paid £10 for the postage which I suppose is ok in a way as it's coming from North America and it's First Class.

I made two separate purchases so I got the other parcel just yesterday so I thought I will do this post after I get the other 9 eyeshadows. So here it is :D.

How Amazing are the colours?
I loved the idea of getting single eyeshadow so I can open them put them in the Zpalette myself. It's so much fun, I was super excited when I got my parcel. That was over pretty soon, so me being me I ordered more eyeshadows to fill my Zpalette up. How many times have I mentioned the word Zpalette?

Here are swatches of the eyeshadows. See how pigmented these are?

Left to Right - ES40, ES6, ES60, ES61, ES63, ES14, ES66, ES5, ES21, ES65, ES56, ES31, ES42, ES58.
Left to Right - ES60, ES52, ES45, ES46, ES35, ES44, ES34, ES37, ES41, ES43, ES19, ES28, ES07
I gave the eyeshadows a try and instantly fell in love with them. Can't believe how crazily pigmented these are? Have you tried them yet? You can really pack the colour on for an intense colourful smokey look. I said colourful because the shades I bought are colourful. And they range from browns to oranges, peaches, pinks, purples, blue, greens and obviously Black. I did two looks using these eyeshadows, they are both bright and intense as I really packed on the colour on my lid. But all in all I love these eyeshadows and would recommended everyone to try them out. The only downside is that all the good ones are out of stock :(. They also sell custom made palettes so like it makes up for the out of stock single eyeshadows. Make sure to check them out. I will leave a link to their website down below :D.

www.morphebrushes.com

Also done some looks using the Morphe Eyeshadows, will be doing some more real soon.. Stay tuned.. :-*. Follow me on Instagram babies for more makeup looks :D.

Recent Splurges. Part 2

I thought I would split this into 2 parts as it was getting too long :D. Hope you enjoy.

Next stop Origins at the Frasers. I went into John Lewis and seen the mask I wanted but then decided to leave it and walk down to Space.NK.apothecary because for some damn reason I thought they stock Origins products but found out they don't so had to go to Frasers. Only wanted to buy one mask but came back with all of that ^^^^^.

The Out of Trouble mask is there if you are having skin problems. Like spots just popping out of nowhere. I have used it once and can say somewhat it actually worked. The spots on my face subsided. GREAT. You can buy this from the Origins website Here.  Boots have a really good offer on at the moment, its their offer of the week so be sure to check it out Right Here. They have a set with 3 masks including this one and 2 others for £23 for the 75ml tubes. That is like a bargain people.

Bought a Gift set and also the Out Of Trouble mask and got myself some free goodies as I bought two products from Origins. Love me some free goodies to try :D.

Seems like a tonne of stuff. Doesn't it? I got all of this for £63. The Gift set was £40 and the mask was £23. And the free gift along with it.

This is what I got in the gift set. An overnight Mask which is the green tube and is called the Drink Up Intensive along with that you get a full size of the High-Potency Night-A-Mins, basically it's a rich night time Moisturizer, a travel size of the the GinZing Moisturizer and a miniature size of the GinZing Eye Cream. The little eye cream is amazing because it brightens & depuffs the under eye area. And is an illuminator. A 3-in-1 product. I have yet to try these products so will let you know how I get on with them. Oh BTW these products have such an amazing fresh fruity scent. you can Purchase the gift set from Here. These products are valued in at £68 so getting it for £40 isn't so bad and you are saving over £25.

These are the free goodies that I received after I made the purchase. Again as I said I still have to use these products so will update you all on that soon. So as you can see I got the GinZing Eye Cream again in a tube, along with a face wash and a Soothing Treatment Lotion.

Last but not the least we (meaning Me & my lil bro) went into St Eoch's it's again an indoor centre with shops. We actually went in to get a McD's but since we had Greggs in the morning so didn't feel like having anything. Instead I seen some makeup and was literally pulled towards it. Hahahah. I had heard about this brand but didn't know who stocked it and then I saw it and wanted to buy everything. This is the brand Essence. A German Brand. They are only here for a couple of weeks so if you all want to try it get to Glasgow Town Centre immediately. St Enoch Centre.

This is what I bought. Some lip liners and they are really good and pigmented along with the blushers. Just Amazing Amamzing Amazing. Also bought a gold EyePencil, a Duo Concealer pot along with a Mascara. I have used both of the blushers and have been absolutely loving them. The Lip liners were only 99P. Yaaaaaaa exactly. All of these products for just under a Fiver. It's a must try all you beautiful people.. <3

Lip Liner Swatches

To To Bottom - 06 Satin Mauve, 15 Honey Berry & 14 Femme Fatale

Swatches of the blusher..

Top and Bottom - 60 Life's a cherry & 80 Autumn Peach.

Recent Splurges. Part 1

Know them days when you actually tell yourself to only buy what you need but it never ends that way? Well Kind of happened with me last week. Went to buy one thing but came back with Four bags. Eeeeeeee - yeeeeeeeh.

So the things I really went into town for:

Liz Earle - Hot Cloth Cleanse (3rd can & still loving it) &
Nars - Virtual Domination (Cheek Palette)

AND the things I actually came back with along with the top two:

Origins - Out of Trouble Mask; Best of both worlds (Gift Set); Also got a free gift.
Becca - Opal Highlighter
Essence Cosmetics - Lip Liners, Mascara, Gold EyePencil, Concealer Duo & Blushers.

See what happened there. Honestly didn't mean to buy all of this. But I was in need of some new skincare as my skin has been acting up, think its all of the chocolates and fizzy drinks. Dayuum but they so goood. Anyway I guess we all go through phases.

So getting back to the Makeup/Skincare Haul. It consisted of taking my little brother to the Barbers, having Greggs, then going from one side of the town centre to the other. Because if you are familiar with Glasgow's Town Centre you will know that the big Stores like John Lewis, Frasers & Debenhams are at either side of the town, well I mean it isn't that far just a street away but then it can be too much and I get tired easily. hahah. But we did it, I can usually go for long walks and shop about. Well depending on what I want and if it requires going from one side to another then be it.

I am not going to go into too much detail but here is a little description and images of the products I bought.

The minute I saw this I wanted it. I am absolutely in love with all the holiday palettes I am seeing. And are amazing for the prices. It was £45 now c'mon how can you not? Nars single blush is priced at £22 I think. And the retail price for it all combined comes in at £117. So at £45 it is a bargain and worth buying. You can buy this Here from Space.Nk.apothecary.

The palette itself contains:

3 Blushers - Sex Fantasy (Limited Edition), Deep Throat, Final Cut (Limited Edition)
Highlighter - Miss Liberty
Bronzer - Laguna

Left - Bronzer Laguna
Top to Bottom - Miss Liberty, Sex Fantasy, Deep Throat, Final Cut.

The second product is also from Space.NK.apothecary from the brand Becca. I had been eyeing it up for a very long time after seeing Jaclyn Hill use it in her videos. They have 3 highlighting shades I believe. I got mines in the shade Opal. It is a very subtle light bronze goldish highlight. Don't know how else to describe it just have a look at it for yourself. How GORGEOUS? Who agrees? £30 for this baby and you can purchase yours Here.

See how gorgeous the Becca Opal Highlighter is? Who else wants this? I also want to add Moonstone, Topaz & Rose Gold to my Collection.

Favourite lipsticks at the Moment!

Another new post while I sip on Orange Lucozade and have some Crisps packets. 2 to be precise :-(. Oh the sad Fattening days & nights. (Did I spell that correctly??) Who else can relate to this situation?

But whatever lets move on to the point. So this post will be about my fave lipsticks along with my 2 fave lip liners. At the moment I have 2 that I will be mentioning in this post. And they both are MAC Lippies in the shades Angel & Viva Glam II. I bought the Angel and the other I got as a gift.

Recently I have been loving these lipsticks and can honestly say are my 2 go to lippies as they are very versitile & can compliment any look. They are both Nude Lipsticks. One is a brown Nude and the other in a pink Nude. Absolutely love them and the texture of these lippies. I'm not a big fan of MAC but I have to say these Hands down are my fave lippies from that brand, might buy some more as they do stay on for quiet a bit. I am sure you all know how the MAC lipsticks look and feel. As you must all own MAC lipsticks :D. I was just the last to try them out. HAH. As I said I am not big on that brand but I had to get my hands on some lippies ;-). I have been wearing them for couple of weeks now so I thought I should share my Favourites with you all.

Along with these lipsticks I have also got some lip liners that I would like to mention are from the Drugstore ofcourse. I have 1 from Rimmel in the shade 063 EastEnd Snob & the other 1 is from Collection which is in the shade 1 Nude Pink.

Both of these lip liners go perfectly with the MAC lipsticks. Well the Collection one is just a tad bit darker but can be blended. Nothing is impossible ;-).

But thats all folks.. xox

Max Factor Colour Elixir Lip Gloss

If you have read my previous post then you will know about my trip to Boots and me buying 10 products along with 1 I did need. So yes these 4 babies were amongst those 10 products. I am saying 4 because I already had 1 of them ;-).

I had tried all of these out a couple of days ago and omg they are amazing. The smell delicious, It's like smooth caramel on your lippies. And I actually mean Caramel, as they glide on the lips and are not sticky at all. In total there are 9 shades in the Lip gloss, but I only have 5 because when I was in boots looking at these pretty little lippy glosses I only really liked the first 4 colours as the rest were, well 2 or 3 were way too light and they other couple were dark. That's it. Just dark. Well saying that i have 2 of the dark ones. I love love love the Gold packaging.

Shades from Top to Bottom:

If you can't make out what it says do not worry i'll list them down below:

10 Pristine Nude
80 Lustrous Sand
25 Enchanting Coral
45 Luxurious Berry
60 Polished Fuchsia

That's me swatched the lip gloss in the above order. Don't they all look pretty?

You can buy these from Here. And Boots still have the 3 for 2 offer :D.

Have you tried any of these?? If not I say you do :D

Mini Review - Max Factor CC Cream

Right so I was in boots 2 weeks ago, and have not been in it since :O yaaaah shocking right? But it needs to be done, I need to stop buying so many products and use the ones I already have.

I recently went into boots to get god knows what but ended up with about 10 products :'(. I think I should be banned from Boots. LOL.

I will not get to the point because I do not want to make this too long.

I have honestly not been big on BB & CC Creams. I had used one from Rimmel and really wasn't a big fan. This Max Factor CC Cream is totally differnet. It is what it says. This is a tinted moisturiser.  And the best one I have used. I have wore it twice on my face and can honestly say it is the best. I absolutely love it. I don't know why I never bought it before. If I had found it before to be honest I probably would not have bought all the foundations I have. That was not possible because this is just a new-ish product.

As I have already said before that this is an absolutely amazing product. It has a light to medium coverage but for me I think this was enough. My skin has been breaking out but trust me it has nothing to do with all the products I have been using on my skin. I just need to get my diet right and cut out all the junk. It really does make a difference. Drink lots of water, That's what I tell myself all the time.

But if anyone is looking for a face product that is not too pricey and is worth the money then this is for you. Priced at just £9.99, I mean you can't go wrong with it. Plus Boots still have the 3 for 2 offer so I say you make the most of it.

I have bought mines in the shade 50 Natural. In-store they have the CC Cream in 4 shades. So there is a shade for everyone. I seriously thought this would either be too light or too dark because I can never tell in all that lighting. But hey guess what it was just the right shade. So proud of myself haha. Such an idiot I am but to be truthful I can never match a foundation to my skin. It's my worst nightmare.

You can buy this here.

But I took a chance with the CC Cream and I am so glad I was correct. :D A big cheesy smile.

Has anyone else tried any BB/CC Creams? Do let me know :D

Liz Earle Cleanse Polish - Review

I want to write about so many products that I have acquired in the last few weeks, but there are so many that I haven't even got round to using them. Oh my why do I always do that? I honestly need to stop buying so many products. But hey there is no such thing as "too much makeup".

ANYWAY let's talk about my new face product. It is from the Liz Earle brand. Okay I have seen all the products from this range but honestly had not went and tried any. I have only seen Liz Earle products in John Lewis so when ever I use to walk through John Lewis and had always seen like Middle-aged women looking at this brand, so every time I seen that thought that maybe it was mostly for the middle-aged women but I was wrong.

I was very wrong about that because it is certainly not aimed at a particular age group. Anyone can use it. I mean ANYONE. When I was in John Lewis browsing through the products, the girl that works for Liz Earle was very friendly and came to help me, and told me a bit more about the product. I was into it straight away. And wanted to try it for myself.

As my skin is Sensitive I am very picky about what i put on my face. (I need to watch what I eat too, I need to get the junk food out my life) *crying* why o why? Erm back to the point.. What was I saying? Em oh yes Sensitive skin, I got told that the Liz Earle products are for all skin types because of all its Natural Ingredients Like Rosemary, Chamomile, Cocoa butter and Eucalyptus essential oil.

They are all beneficial ingredients for our skin and body. All of the above ingredients have anti-septic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, but we wont go into that much of a detail.

Let's talk about the product itself:

  • Amazing daily Face wash
  • Affordable
  • Moisturising
  • Smells Good
  • Very soothing & Calming
  • Does not irritate skin
  • Good for anyone & any skin type
  • Is of a thick consistency
  • Don't really need a moisturiser after using this.

I bought the Starter kit which came with 2 Muslin cloths. To be honest I have not used the Muslin cloths yet because I am just so loving my Magnitone Lucid. But when I do get round to using the Muslin Cloth I will let you all know.

I bought it for £14.75 but if you only buy thee Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser it is £13.25. So you are better off buying as a starter kit rather than on its own. I am absolutely loving this amazing product and I have nearly finished it but don't worry I have also bought a back up too and that was from Boots. It came in a set with a full size Hot cloth cleanse along with 2 Muslin cloths, Instant Boost Tonic, and Daily eye repair. The tonic and eye repair are in smaller bottles. John Lewis have also brought out their Christmas gifts so do check it out online and in-stores. Oh by the way they also have a limited addition Hot cloth Cleanse & Polish. Well it is actually the same product inside but just in a different smell. And it is amazing. I know I am going to go buy it so be sure to check it out for yourself's. Let me know if you have or currently are using products from this range.

Until Next time... Live, Love, Laugh
